NOTE: Please realize
that this chat room is completely public (i.e. the chat room is not contained
within my site and can be accessed by anyone through the IRC (Internet Relay
Chat) server it's hosted on. This means that people with less than
desirable conversation skills may be able to get into the room and bother
you. If this happens, let me
know.

Keep it clean. If I get any reports
of misuse of the chat room, I will have to put on display a (very attractive)
"under construction" page instead of the chat room page until people mind
their matters.

No exploits or malicious scripts. This
room is for the enjoyment of stackOverflow's visitors. If you feel
you must show your scripting prowess, try out irc.luckytangerine.com:6667.

Don't spam other users. While some
of you may be inexperienced with IRC and wish to test it's features, it can
get really old for the poor user who receives 2,000 different messages
simultaneously. And last,

Be patient. IRC is renowned for lag
and server disconnects. If someone takes a while to respond to you,
understand that not everyone receives messages instantaneously.
