 lynx ::chrono cross::  links

     Links. One of the most popular and most used features of HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), and is what makes the Internet the so-called World Wide Web.  It connects web sites together both internally and to each other.

     Boring, you say?  Oh contraire!  It was a revolutionary technology when it was first developed.  Before that, the Internet was a lot harder to navigate and it was a lot harder to find things you wanted.  You had to memorize cryptic commands and access other computers on the 'net through FTP, Gopher, or other shell-based terminals.  </RANT>

     So due to this fantastic new linking technology, you can visit other web sites clear across the country -- nay, the world -- simply by "clicking" the specially highlighted words that are of interest to you.

*admiring the wonders of technology*

     One last aside, though the internet is a source of endless wonderment and sugoi-ness, it does not always contain content that is suitable for human consumption.  Some of the sites below may contain occasionally questionable content, and, of course, I can take no responsibility for the sites that they link to.  Please exercise good judgement when surfing.

     Here are some of my favorite spots on the internet -- categorized and briefly described for your viewing pleasure!
